TIP: Using tagprefix and Dynamic Dialog for better performance.

Jaapie Gold Member Joined: 1/17/2006 Last visit: 12/1/2025 Posts: 802 Rating: (63)	Hi All, Just a little tip for you all: If you use a tagprefix on a picturewindow all scripts and objects (within this picturewindow) witch use tags will automatically use this prefix. Almost everybody will know this I think.But did you know that even within the Dynamic Dialog” this prefix will work! If you want to configure these objects within Dynamic Dialog you first have to create dummy tags, but this effort will be rewarded with a great performance of your faceplates when using e.g. bit selections. Be careful to use only one tag within one Dynamic Dialog (for performance reasons). Good luck,Jaap

The dummy internal tags do not have to be created in other projects only if you want to edit the Dynamic dialog. Have fun. Jaap
