Hi everyone,

I am attempting to install step 7 professional 2017 on a windows 10 LTSB 2015 machine. The compatibility tool says it is compatible, but when running the disk install, it complains that it isnt and Siemens will not accept any responsibility or provide support.

Just wondering which one i should believe? Their official compatibility tool or the software itself?

I have tried to install Step7 2017 on Windows 10 LTSB 2016 (build 1607). It worked good.

Maybe Siemens has made a mistake in the compatibility list. It looks more like Win10 2016 is compatible and Win10 2015 is not.
