yes i had seen the attachment after you reset using mmc. it says memory card missing or protected, manual restart required.

I am just trying g to figure out whether you had done the reset properly.

i done the above mention procedure but no response.

pls. once again see the attched error.

1. CPU is Power off then Insert 2MB simatic MMC.

2.Power on to the CPU.

3.STOP & RUN  LED is blinking & goes to STOP Stable,at same time ERROR LED continuously blinking from initial.

 Hi, nothing more than this i know about this issue.

Maybe some PLC do have option to remove the inbuilt battery which they use for clock or something and when you do that everything gets clear and reset. Not sure whether S7-1200 has that kinda hard reset. 

Maybe someone else can help to fix your issue.

Hi!

I have factory setting the PLC via SIMATIC MMC. Given below that step.

1.Power is OFF  PLC & Insert MMC-2 MB

2.Power ON  PLC

3.STOP & RUN LED is blinking,then STOP goes to stable.

4.Then Power OFF the PLC & Remove the MMC.

5.Now power ON PLC .

Now PLC is factory reset mode.

NOTE:

In MMC should have given below the file.Otherwise PLC can not restted.

1. DataLogs

2.Recipes

3.SIMATIC.S7S

4.S7_JOB.S7S.

 Hi Ixo,

He said the MMC should have the files he listed. In the link you suggested, it says empty MMC card. Don't understand why, at least he got it work somehow.

i tried to insert Empty Simatic 2MB memory card for reset,but can not access.In PLC error LED continuously blinking.

 To make sure your card is suitable, go to command prompt, change drive to your card (example: C:\Users\yourname>E:), type dir /ah and press enter. You should see file cardinfo.bin and __LOG__. If you don't, your card is not the right one.
