Hi,

I'm using a G120C 6SL3210-1KE15-8UF2 drive in Vector control mode (P1300=20) and I'm limitting an upper torque limit by P1522. Like torque control

I got a F07900 fault while the motor speed is near 120rpm.

There is no P2175 or P2177 parameter on G120C drive.

How can I disable or eliminate that alarm while limiting a torque or current.

Good afternoon gentlemen,

This is my first post as I am new to the role of controls engineer. I am having the same problem on one of our automated lines. There seems to be no correlation between the load the motor is under and this fault. I have re-programmed the vfd and changed the motor to no avail, we have several product sizes running through this line and I would like to think if the drive is hitting the torque limit that the heavier the product the more often I would be experiencing the issue, this is not the case it appears to be unrelated to the weight of the product. I have tried everything I can think of including everything on this forum. My question is has anyone experienced this issue with a faulty drive being the root cause?

On our maintenance day this friday I will exchange the vfd and or motor to try and confirm. I will also program from scratch. If anyone has anymore ideas I can try it would be much appreciated.

If the drive is controlled via profinet can any or all parameters be over-ridden by the plc during operation?

No not all parameters are written by PLC.

It depends upon telegram selected & parameters configuration. Generally control word, setpoint (speed reference) & any other user specific parameters are sent from PLC to drive & status word, actual speed, encoder status word or actual torque or user specific parameters are transfered from drive to PLC.

Thanks that helps, as our line runs several variations of product the line speed changes with the recipe. When the fault appears next time ill have a look to see if there is any major difference in the sent telegrams.
