If you examine the screenshots below, they compare technical data extracts from a Standard and a Siplus equivalent S7-1214F CPU.

Notice that the Siplus module presents extended temperature operating range (compared to the standard module) and is designed with conformal coating to protect it against deleterious atmospheres.

Notice also that both show the same attainable level of SIL class, depending of course on the process equipment and programming.

So, basically, a Siplus F-CPU offers the same Safety classe levels that a standard F-CPU; the Siplus designation is there to protect the CPU from its environment, not to make its Safety rating higher.
