CP341 ASCII and PCS7

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hello, well, I am not as conviced as you are in this case. A good example would be PROFINET, PROFINET is not released for the use with PCS7 at all. In case of the use of CP 341 I do not see a problem. The ET200 M is released for the use with PCS7, used as DP Slave. There a CP 341 might be inserted, in this case the Functions used for the CP may also be used within PCS7. Best regards J_Bell

If HW /feature is supported by PCS7, then a code written for S7 should work for PCS7 too. PCS7 programmers who havenot worked in simple S7 system sometimes don'trealize that the controller in PCS7 is also used in S7.
