CBA communication problem

JMJ Posts: 487 Rating: (45)	On WinAC Soft PLC, I do not see a possiblity to have PN-CBA directly. It must be possible thru WinAC ODK and CBA OPC server options or even using industrial databridge.Butthese areexpensive/complicated procedures. I would suggest you to use S7 Communication over ethernet. Ethernet interface on the CPU 315PN/DP supports this and WinAC supports this over standard NIC on the PC using Softnet Lean license, which come with WinAC.

For today I would say CBA creates a lot of traffic on a network that is stuffed with bottleneks and other units that require a lot of bandwith. I am not sure if this is a prospective for today.
