Errors in loading NCK/PLC backup archives in new PCU50.3-C

aeroexpert Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	Hi,. I am having problems in loading NCK/PLC backup archives in HMI advanced v 7.2. These backup archive files were provided by OEM expert during initial commissioning of our machine. (kindly see the attached picture for the detailed description of errors. ) if you can advise me anything regarding loading of NCK/PLC archives then please do. Thanks. PISCEAN 2010 Posts: 8092 Rating: (884)	Hello, Please check/confirm below points. 1. Back up which you received in arc format from OEM is the latest or old during commissioned one. 2. Is there any change in hardware or software carried out before or after back up? Please check this with the machine history. You can confirm the date of your archieve back up. 3. Is it series back up or separete NC & PLC arc files? Try to clear NC, PLC first & check if system boots with default data without any error. 4. From the machin history, check if any software like HMI or PCU50.3 was updated. If it is so, confirm the back up which you are trying to reload is compatible with the modified one. HTH

Backup which i received in arc format is from EMCO OEM expert and it is the old one during initial commissioning of older PCU50.3-C with same part number as the new one. 2. Is there any change in hardware or software carried out before or after back up? Please check this with the machine history. You can confirm the date of your archieve back up. As PCU50.3-C was giving errors so we purchased a new one with same part number. There is no change in hardware, however in our old pcu50.3 HMI advanced version was 6.4 and now the version in new PCU is 7.2. This is the one difference. 3. Is it series back up or separete NC & PLC arc files? Try to clear NC, PLC first & check if system boots with default data without any error. It is backup in two separate archive (arc) files, 1 for NC and other for plc. Can you please advise how can i clear the NC and PLC through s3 and s4 switch? 4. From the machine history, check if any software like HMI or PCU50.3 was updated. If it is so, confirm the back up which you are trying to reload is compatible with the modified one. Only HMI advanced is 7.2 in the new PCU50.3-C while it was 6.4 in the old one. And how can i check the compatibility that backup created through hmi v 6.4 is compatible with hmi v 7.2 or not ?
