You will not find it in the device manager, if it's not plugged in the PC. And you won't find it in the PG/PC interface either, if it's not plugged in the PC. |

In older version of Simatic Manager like V 5.5 PC Adapter appear in PG/PC Setting although PC adapter not connected to USB of the Lab Top. |

Hello, for the old USB Adapter the drivers are preinstalled and configured but not for PC Adapter USB A2.

In Step7 v5.6, PC Adapted USB A2 drivers are preinstalled. I just installed Step7 v5.6 1 month ago, and just plugged in the adapter and started working. |

Hi, yes the driver is on the system and installed if you connect the Adapter. In the older Version and the old Adapter the drivers are copy and installed in the device manager during setup of Step7. Regards Christoph |
