I am encountering a problem regarding the download to the CPU! I am making a project without using any hardware (only PLCSIM), in the phase of Hardware config. I cant establish a connection to my CPU 417-4. I made the ES correctly with configuration and download and it's working like mentioned below. But when I try to download to the CPU by making the "compile and Download objects" it doesn't work and display "
Unable to establish a connection to the module CPU 417-4 (R0/S3) in the station SIMATIC 400(1)"

And if I make a direct download it displays 33:16662 error.

Please Help me!!

In your screenshot Plcsim is not running.

Start Plcsim, open the hardware configuration editor, download hw-config into Plcsim. Then start the CFC editor and download program.

That what was missing, the CPU was in STOP mode and it's fixed now. Thank you a lot for your Help and Have a nice day.
