Hi you've tried to see in the OSCAT library? something should be there. Take a look: www.oscat.de. The function you want exists in the OSCAT library, open the folder named Time and Date, your function is FC 180 DAY_OF_YEAR, which also uses the FC 405 DATE_DINT, copy both blocks then enter the date in the FC 180 with D # 2013-09-17 andcomes outthe result = 260, I have tried it and it works. |

I did some SCL code in this thread that will do it for you. The value you want is my code is OrdinalDay. The WEEK_NUM stuff can be deleted as it is not relavent to your requirements. |
