Hi,I am having trouble using SIMOTION D445-2 to perform Profinet communication configuration with KUKA .SIMOTION Firmware(Kemel) is V4.5 or V5.1.

If I use V4.4,there is no problem at all.

it is a online setting in the kuka module.

It is possible to change the subnet mask online.

PLC / Ethernet/ Edit Ethernet node

 It is unavailable.I have checked the subnet mask on KUKA side. It is 255.255.255.0.

but it show me 0.255.255.255 on Siemens side by online like that image.

I think you should work with KUKA to solve this problem.

I have had a similar problem once, just with an ABB robot and a different PLC manufactor...

It turned out that the ethernet cable was plugged into the wrong ethernet port inside of the robot cabinet, and the build in router in the robot was messing with everything on the LAN network

There is a deviation in your understanding of my problem. As you do I know it well, but if you download the Hardware configuration to SIMOTION Device with V4.5 or V5.1 Firmware(Kernel)，and connect KUKA(KRC 4) and SIMOTION via Ethernet, there will be problem. if with V4.4,will be no problems.  I mean you need the actual SIMOTION and KUKA device to test and check, so maybe you need work with KUKA technicians.

Please note it can work well with V4.4 Firmware in the case that other hardware devices are unchanged, but V4.5 or V5.1 can not.

 Thank you ,but it's different. Without changing the hardware, it can work well with V4.4, but V4.5 and V5.1 can not.
