There's a need to rename a few bits in array of DB or UDT.

Since while array creation it's only possible to assign the same name to all array cells.

So I would ask for ways or tricks on renaming cell's names in declaration view.

What you are hoping for is creating an alias.

Assuming Step7 V5.x and SCL coding language inside an FB.

The closest you will get is to create an overlay (AT overlay). A separate structure overlaying the data.

Step7 V14 and higher offer some more options, but still not what you are aiming for. There at least you can do the following:

#myBitArray[#CONST_RUN_STATE] := false;

An array, as you know, provides easiest and quickest way to make a large number of cells in DB or UDT.

However, doing that unfortunately it's not passible  to rename cells in declaration view.

So i'm seeking for a way or trick to do that.

Using the AT overlay (as mentioned) is such a trick.

The other work-arounds I know has the same theme.
Perhaps forum experts have answers that satisfy you more.
