khangtd46 Posts: 59 Rating: (0)	Hello experts, i tried to test my sinamics power modul and a CU320. I connected them to starter and everything is okay, in the alarm tab, it said OK. then i tried to run the motor using the control panel. However, i cant, and the message is "Switch on disable active". i checked the parameter p9 = 0, p10 = 1, r46.0 = Yes. i tried to download P840 = 1 to the drive but it still remains p840 = 0. Can someone help me figure out what is wrong? Thank you

Finish quick commissioning first. To download p840 with a static 1 doesn`t enable the drive. Parameter p840 is triggered by a positive edge of the signal connected to p840. So I would recommend using the control panel of STARTER in the first place to check if the motor is running ok. Please use the online help of STARTER to get more information about the single parameters and their corresponding settings. There you can find the information that r2 = 10 indicates that you have to set p1142 enable setpoint to 1.

I am able to use the green button however, the motor does not run. i use a non-siemens motor to do the test, the motor specification is 0.37kW, 380 rated voltage, .1.13 rated current, 0.75 cos phi. When i set the RPM to 200, the output voltage is just about 30V. Do i need a encoder to make the motor run?

So I think it make no sense to test this drive with a 1.13A motor, especially in close loop. If you want to test the drive I would use v/f mode. There you don`t need a motor on the output but you can operate the drive.

However, when i use control panel to run the drive, the drive stops with the fault wrong motor identification, F07990, r949 = 10. So if i want to do a v/f test without motor, i have to delete the motor in the software? is it correct, and how to do so? Thank you
