Messages without integrating WinCC and STEP7

GedasL Posts: 19 Rating: (0)	Is it possible to implement chronological messaging with S7-300 CPUs and WinCC,report S7 system errors in WinCC,export monitored variables automaticaly from STEP7 to WinCC, etc.withoutintegratingWinCCandSTEP7? Now I am doing PLC programming, other person is working on WinCC part of the project. I have STEP7 instaled but no WinCC. My colleague has WinCC but no STEP7. Should we both have WinCC AND STEP7 instaled ? Or can I exporteverythingandthenimporttostandalone WinCC ?

Stalker Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	That's a very interesting question. For example I have no idea how Step7 transferes MULTIPLE text libraries for messages created there into ONE Text Library in WinCC. After doing thatStep7 leaves links to text libraries in messages like @1W%t#ErrTextLib@ and@1W%t#USER_LIB_1@ which mean that process value #1 wil be evaluated as index in 2 different libraries with names ErrTextLib (FB49) and USER_LIB_1 (just user library). Despite the fact that texts in WinCC recive different IDs in it's TextLibrary, which are never the same they were in tables in Step7,links like @1W%t#ErrTextLib@ and@1W%t#USER_LIB_1@ still working. I would love to know how to do the same manualy without compilation.
