One of our customer's site is having OP17 HMI and it continuously shows "Ready to transfer" and doesnt go to start screen.

any reason for this and  solution?

Most likely the program has been wiped. Causes include but not limited to:
+ operator pressed special key combination that wipes HMI
+ unit is old, looses program after being shutdown for extended time.

Remedy: reload the program. See what happens if power removed for more than 24hours.

just got to know that customer doesn't have original backup to download..is there anything else that we can try or its confirmed that backup is erased

The project data is not there in the HMI , we have cocluded.
