Our customer wants to retain the drives and motors in retrofit application. Now there are 2 options 

1. 828D + HLA

2. 840DSL + ADI4

Which option is technically better for interpolating axes? If there any document for comparison between (HLA Vs ADI4) please share the same.

Split from 840D SL with ADI4 as interpolating axis.

Hi,

840D SL and ADI4 is a well proven solution to analog drive machines.

828D + HLA should be much cheaper but with a much smaller screen.

Both will work just fine.
