Good day everybody,

I'm a student in my last year in high school and we must present a big project before judges, my project is positioning a Siemens Sinamcs S110 Drive with a PLC and Profinet, I use TIA Portal V14 as software. I've had a lot of problems and i solved them using this forum, but now i have a problem that I can't solve. If I press go online in TIA Portal I can't use my axis because there's an error in lower levels, I went to search that error and i saw that that second port of the PLC and the second port of my Drive were the faults, but in my setup are those ports connected with a profinet cable. I don't know what to do now, i hope you guys can help me out.

First of all thank you for answering.

In school I connected port 2 of the PLC and port 2 of the S110 and instead of a green line (like in the screen) it was a red line. I will try to put the profinet cable on port 1 of the plc and port 1 of the S110.

The problem is solved but now, if I want to jog or position my motor via Tia Portal V14, it wouldn't move an inch. I tried to turn it around but it was stuck, i think there was some kind of a brake on it, but I don't know how I can get that brake off.

I hope you guys can help me further with this problem.

It says that it doesn't have a brake but it wouldn't run.

In STARTER it runs perfectly, but I must use for my project TIA Portal V14, I want to run it with the axis, but it doesn't run.
