Jackcaress Silver Member Joined: 3/12/2015 Last visit: 10/23/2025 Posts: 556 Rating: (15)	Good morning forum I'm trying to edit a file on the NCK but it says that I don't have editing permission, i have the password activated 1111 but it still has the same error (image) The reason I need to change this subroutine is because I have modified it in the global file but when I run the program it runs the old program (also when I modified the subroutine and saved it it said that it was unable to save into the NCK but on the global file it did save) Does anyone know what's happening? nulizhang Platinum Expert Joined: 10/17/2007 Last visit: 1/14/2026 Posts: 4574 Rating: (416)	1st of all I suggest you read 840C operator's manual--attached cover picutre , you can Google it 2nd, I think normally user will edit or make new NC program in Local\workpiece\ABCD I see it seems you are doing in Global Jackcaress .

Jackcaress Silver Member Joined: 3/12/2015 Last visit: 10/23/2025 Posts: 556 Rating: (15)	The file is locked but i was wondering if i could unlock it The seccond photo was the global file that i try and save to the nck but it dosent let me I have made a new NCK file but the problem is that it dosent save into the nck memory so every time i switch off the control and turn it back on the file has dissapeared Is there any way to save a file into the NCK so that is stays there after i reset the control?
