Profinet network: CPU 315-2PN/DP and ET200s

Carlet Posts: 34 Rating: (2)	Hi I'm trying to configure a Profinet Network between a CPU 315-2PN/DP and two ET200s (IM151-3PN) but it's hard to make it work properly.... The connection is made between fiber optic converted to copper throughsimply Allied Telesyn media converter and a Switch HP Procurve 2524. I have done the hardware configuration, assigning to all et200s the name and the IP address. I can ping all the device from a remote PC, so the link is ok but BF led is blinking on all devices. I can verify the devices name from Step 7 and they are ok too. Do the HP switch and the AT media converter support the PROFINET? Thank you.

jklm Posts: 1742 Rating: (309)	Hello, Try to verify (via port status) if you get really 100 Mbps and Full-duplex out of all the devices. I know for sure that the CPU does not start Profinet IO traffic if this is not fullfilled. And I guess that the IM do the same.
