I'm using a winder based in DCC winder application by siemens.

The systems works pretty weel,but I faced two 'problems'.

1. After the end of the first roll the system already calculate a diameter. How can I reset this diameter for the next empty roll?

2. Is there a way to use two or three different diameter cylinders? We want to use one cylinder with diameter 220mm and one with 550mm.

I read the application manual and I didn't find something useful.

which version of DCC winder do you use (please check out the value of r21500 in the expert list).

I just ask because sometimes parameter numbers change between versions, so this is necessary to know before giving you the right parameters.

Hi,

the diameter can be reset by the control bit p23158. The setting value is given in p21580.

Please note that the diameter should always be within the limit values (p21570 = max diameter; p21571 = min diameter).

By defining min and max diameter sure you can also use different versions of coils. Or you just define the very smallest and very biggest diameter of all options. This should be fine. When changing the coil and starting a new winding procedure, you should always set the diameter to the correct value (if you have no diameter sensor and just use the diameter calculation method)

So, I must put the preferred the diameter value  to the LMCSINA_WinderConfigDB.diameterSetValue in real and then SET the setDiameter on the LMCSINA_WinderFB which affect the 23158 of the drive. Finally RESET again the setDiameter on LMCSINA_WinderFB.
