can S7-1500 and logo communicate via Ethernet?

khangtd46 Posts: 59 Rating: (0)	Hello, i've seen so many examples or topics about S7-1200 and logo communication but there is no information about the S7-1500. im planning a project that need this communication between S7-1500 and Logo but still wondering can they work. so i want to ask, is there anyone that have done this kind of communication before? is this possible to do this or is there any documents related to this task? Thank you

ixo65 Grandmaster Joined: 12/18/2014 Last visit: 1/16/2026 Posts: 36460 Rating: (4550)	So far I have only done it with an S7-1200, but with the S7-1500 it would have to work the same way. You only have to release the PUT / GET function under the security setting. If active connection establishment is enabled under the special connection properties, the S7-1500 works as a client. If not, then the S7-1500 is the server.

LOGO! Support Posts: 399 Rating: (47)	Yes it is possible to make communication between LOGO! and S7-1500. Both supports S7-communication. It is similar to the communication with S7-1200. At S7-1500 it is important that the PUT/GET access is permitted in the properties of the CPU.
