Most Siemens operator panels also have a Modbus TCP channel, as masters (clients). Can your Schneider model work as a slave (server)? Or do you know of a commercial coupler between 2 Modbus TCP clients? Could you use OPC drivers between the 2 panels?

But what exactly are you hoping to exchange between the 2 panels?

Thank you for the response.

The panel is connected via modbus tcp withe a schneider PLC (for supervison)

And I want to use a connection with an S7 400 to synchonize date and time because the S7 400 is connected to a NTP server.

It seems that I had misunderstood your original question.

If you need to exchange data between a S7-400 and a Schneider PLC using Modbus TCP, you need to dowload (and license) one of the following Open Modbus TCP packages:

Note that there are different software downloads, depending if you are using the integrated Profinet interface of the CPU, or a CP 443-1, or a redundant S7-400H...

You will also find fully functional demo software that you can use to develop your program.
