Hi.

I have  a system with 02 Servers (Windows Server 2003), 02 OS (Win XP) and 01 ES (Win XP) that works as OS as well. If I change the ES Windows password some screens of one of the servers cannot be accessed in the "OS_Client" running in ES. I have to change the password on all Windows (SE, OS and of course the ES).

Why this behaviour if I'm just changing the password and not the user name ?

Could you check your Lic of OS or ES which you have used ?

Hi, that is the disadvantage you have when working with workgroups. Changing a user, adding a user and changing passwords have to be done at all PC stations and in the multi-project. 

When you configure the PC stations in a domain, you can do this centrally, or by using Simatic Logon.

 Before you change your password, there are two things you need to do.First, reset all passwords and, second, close the other accounts that don't need to change your password

You can open the control panel to change the password,as long how to get into the computer,do you have any ideas?

If not,this method is good for you but not bad.
