Display 'degree' character (176) in text field

Humph99 Posts: 21 Rating: (0)	Hi Forum, How can I display the 'degree' character (ASCII code 176 decimal) in a text field on a MP 270 device. Basically I want to label a value as 'degrees C'. The help file states "WinCC flexible supports the full ASCII character set....." but how do you get at the non-keyboard characters?

skimmer Posts: 317 Rating: (18)	Hi, Just start the character map on your pc - Start\Programs\Accessories\System Tools. Select the deg symbol and use the copy button to copy the symbol into the text field.

skimmer Posts: 317 Rating: (18)	No problem, glad I could help [:D] In ProTool I'm pretty sure it was possible to type the short code i.e. Alt+0176 and the character would appear but I think this works much better as you probably have to open the map to get the code anyway.
