MC_GearIn problem

Wojtek2017 Advanced Member Joined: 12/31/2016 Last visit: 1/14/2026 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have a problem with gearing 3 transporters with the MC_GearIn instruction. 1st drive is leads to the 2nd and 3rd synchronizes with the 2nd. During the process, when transporters are geared with MC_GearIn instruction, transporter 2 starts to rotate backwards, randomly. I don't notice any mechanical problems can affect the transporter movement. Has someone had similar problem? Could I get any ideas how to solve the problem? What kind of mechanics do you have? Is it a linear axis or a rotary axis? Maybe the synchronization is done backwards because the slave drive positionwise is already standing further than the master?

After changing the gain in control loop settings and dynamics limits of drives, I was able to obtain satisfactory results. Now I have one more problem. I have to keep the product at the set distance. We make passive homing with reflection sensor during the conveyor move. Unfortunately, we are not able to stop the object at a given distance, we get an error of +- 3-20 cm at a given distance of 6 m. We use 6ES7 512-1DK01-0AB0 and G120 with CU240E-2 PN. Are we able to get a maximum error of 5 cm on the equipment used? Does the technology block cycle depend on the controller cycle? Encoders shows the correct move value, but manual measurement gives us a 3-20 cm error. Attachment Bez tytułu.png (228 Downloads)
