Hello. 

I have ordered "SIMATIC PDM, software Service V9.1 (50 tags)" order number 6ES7658-3JD68-0YH5. 

If some one can help me clarify two questions that I have:

1. The product description says "Withoug SW".  I have so far been unable to locate a trial / demo version of SIMATIC PDM V9. Does this mean that I will only be able to download the license key and not the software setup itself? How can I install SIMATIC PDM? And if I should also order media delivery?

2. Our scope is commissioning, whereas we just need to hook up SIMATIC PDM to our site and re-parametarize all the Hart transmitters once. These transmitters are connected to 5 S7-1500 PLCs. Once site is commissionned we just move on to the next project. 

Is this product suitable for such a job? Do I need to order any complimentary products?

The software for PDM isn't available as download. You have to order it over the Siemens Industry Mall. The Product No. is:

• 6ES7658-3GX68-0YG8 as Download

I'm not an expert with PDM, but I will try to help you.
I know that you can connect PDM over a HART Multiplexer with several HART-Device (the I/O-Module doesn't have to support the HART functionally, but you have to use a HART-Multiplexer).
And Siemens offers an FAQ How do you incorporate HART field devices with SIMATIC PDM in the TIA Portal?
