Hello

Im trying to set up a PID (PID_COMPACT) in a S7-1200 cpu. PWM output. Im trying to control temperature in water (very slow process).

I dont know too much about PID parameters, but have read alot but it dosnt make any sense. 

When the PV passes SV, the output is still on, maybe 60%. Any ideas why this happen?

And if anyone have any ideas for a good method of setting the parameters ill be more than happy.

I didnt know of the block PID_temp. What is the difference? I thought the PID algoritm was the same, as long as the P, I and D parameters was the same.
