click on the number in the screen in the engineering project. Then you find out if it is an IO Field or a Symbolic IO Field or ... Post this information, if you still have no idea.

Maybe it is a matter of language (different symbols resp. numbers for different languages).

I completely forgot to write it. Blue ones are text fields, gray one is a button.

It's the same with all languages, so it's not a bug in translation.

Symbols (especially hammer and wrench from button) looks like Unicode symbols, but back in 2009 (visu was done) I don't think they were common and windows have them in regular fonts, so it might be some graphic library. For sure it's not project related, because it would be with all files. But I can't find such option to just learn it what would be enough for me.

I'm afraid I can't. I'm not an owner nor creator. Deleting almost everything just to show is pointless in my opinion because probably I'll delete anything related my problem. Anyway I can click or test everything what you need to answer my question.

Anyway my question is: is there a feature which can change some text into another? Or can I somehow put in text fields predefined text or graphic?

I have the answer for my question. It's way more sophisticated than I could expect.

Soft supplier prepared font with all these symbols. That's why symbols are on every kind of object. The tricky part is that when I didn't have this font in my system wincc shows everything as "Tahoma", so it was impossible to guess that something is missing.

The good part is that, missing this font didn't make any problem with things I didn't change.
