Passin ANY pointer from outer block to inner block

K0ICHI Advanced Member Joined: 1/4/2013 Last visit: 5/10/2025 Posts: 73 Rating: (2)	I want to pass an ANY pointer directly from the IN-area of an FB a block call, but when I try to do that, I get "Illegal parameter assignment for DB_Area. Any good explanation for why this doesn't work? I can of course copy the ANY into TEMP-area first, DWORD by DWORD, but I was hoping it didn't have to be that clumsy.
