I am doing a project at school where I have to use the shift register, the simulation in logos works as intended, but whenever I try to transfer the program to the PLC I get an error message, picture below. 

My understanding of the shift register is that I can choose what bit needs to be connected to an output. I chose S1 and tried with a lot of different outputs (Q, M, and X), no one of them works. 

Does anyone have a solution to this?

Ladder is normaly not my world ....

You must use a make contact and then select SF001 insteed of S1.1. See attachment...
