My wishlist:

1. More I/O's in stack of modules (x2 at least).

2. Optional flexible connector between modules.

3. Modbus RTU.

4. Gain more than +-10. Now I use Amplifer+Mathematic instruction in many cases.

5. Choose a number of decimal places for visualisation. It recuire about half of string even of I need only one decimal place.

6. More powerful UDF: with outputs >10, with I/O connectors of "thin lines" analog functions.

7. Easy move all connects from out of one block to other.

8. 2^32 instead of 2^16. Or floating-point calculations.

9. By default blocks whith En input must have True on it.

10. Logical blocks DC (decoder) and CD (coder).

11. Read yourself RTC.

12. LWE: with shift or ctrl key move pitcture pixel by pixel by arow keys.

Need inputs "On" and "Differential" for analog differential trigger.

He means the possibility to change the parameters by other analog signals, i am missing it too. The threshold trigger has inputs for On and Off. Perfect would be, the differential trigger also has inputs On and Delta.

My LOGO! Wishlist:  

It has been amazing to watch the LOGO! mature from when I was first introduced to her 25+ years ago.

The market I am developing system for operates in 12 VDC - so you see LOGO! is perfect for my applications.

I discovered this topic and it got me thinking about future LOGO! features and the world of what if…

So, not in any order I submit my LOGO! wish list.  The numbers are for easy reference.

1. Wire Kits:
   • Connect field wiring to the wire kits and the wire kits screw into the I/O terminals.
     • This will prevent the need to remove the wires from the LOGO! if the LOGO! needs to be removed for any reason.
     • Field I/O can be terminated on the wire kits before the LOGO! is installed.
       1. Benefits if a machine is pre-wired in a production environment
       2. Add the LOGO! only when the machine is sold.  Saves cost so a LOGO! is not sitting in an unsold machine.
   • Output wire kits can provide for daisy-chain connections for same-voltage outputs.
   • Simulator module – not unlike what is available for the S7-200 and S7-1200

2. Removable I/O Terminal Blocks
   • I was introduced to this on the S7-200 & 1200
   • Same function as referenced above with the wire kits.
3. Two RJ45 Ethernet Ports
   • Using a simple switch is just fine but this is a wish list right…
4. Surge Suppression Module at the power connection.
   • These will ‘plug into’ a slot where the power is connected.  Not unlike what is available for contactors.
     • Resistor/Capacitor
     • MOV
     • Diode
   • Currently I am using MOV’s but a plug-in module would be sexier – plus it will add to the accessories LOGO! can market eh’.
5. Analog Potentiometer
   • Not unlike what was found on an S7-200.
6. Ability to tether the expansion modules
   • Knowing there is issues with the dis-similar voltages of modules
   • Perhaps make the tether keyed or the tether cable is terminated into a keyed plate a few mm’s think and that skinny plate is what dictates the mating?
   • Will really enhance usage of available space when installing
7. Use Cursor Key w/o Holding Down ESC Key
   • Check box in LSC to select which mode the ESC key uses
   • Easier to explain to customers how to navigate screens
   • Maintenance (etc) can use the ESC key to access parameter screens (not customers)
8. More screen colors would always be nice
9. STRING block
   • Used for screen messages
   • Post:  "LOGO! Display/TD display string value based on count number?"

10. Storage Registers
    1. A pointer block would be great to utilize numbers stored in a register
