I using PLC Siemens S7-300 CPU316-2DP to connect to 21 Air Circuit Breaker Sentron WL. But i don't have software Switch ES Power to configure Profibus address for Air Circuit Breaker Sentron WL. Please,Can youtell me how to setup Profibus address for Air Circuit Breaker Sentron WL without Switch ES Power? Thanks for your any help. Le Khanh Trong

lktrong Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Dear Daniel, Thank you so much for your help. My Air Circuit Breaker use ETU45B (doesn't have ETU76B), so i can't set Profibus address via ETU76B. So,itry to set Profibus address via STEP7, but it showerror message "Online: Function not implemented in loaded communication driver". I using STEP7 V5.4 + SP2, Revision level K5.4.2.0. The default Profibus address of ACB is 126, but in STEP7 the maximum address of DP slave is 125. So, how to set Profibus address for ACB is 126? Please, can you tell me how to set Profibus address via STEP7 (step by step)? Thanks again, Le Khanh Trong

The manual seems to suggest that you ETU45B also is capable of accessing communication parameters for Profibus-DP, but does not state so directly. you couls at least tell us that you tried to find the comm chage menu on the unit. The only mention of using a Step 7 program to change parameters on the Sentron unit in the manualis a suggestion that you could use SFB 58 to write new parameter values to the Sentron WL,; it shows the Sentron parameter mapping in table 7-15, specifying that "Profibus address" is data point 5, is 8 bits long (a BYTE value, 0-255) and can be accessed as DS160.5. Now, i have not used SFB58 yet, so you will need to ask other experts on the forum on this. Please note that however you get to change the Profibus address on the Sentron, you will need to power it down and again power it up before the Profibus address is recognized.
