Hi everyone!I I'm getting problems with analog output sm1232, am using SM 1232 AQ2 14bits_1.

When I'm checking the output mA signal using a multimeter I always get ~30mA on both channels.

This value does not depend on the input signal value.No matter how I change it's still 30mA.

Please help!

Did you configure the module for current output? Did you download the configuration to the PLC? You description sounds like the module is in the voltage mode and when you check the output current you are reading the maximum short circuit current.

 Yes both channels configured for current output.Configuration downloaded to the PLC.It is possible that the channels are damaged?

 I want to make sure it's really broken.How do I know for sure?

Change to voltage output mode  and see if it outputs correct voltage.

0 = 0 V.

27648 = 10 V.

-27648 = -10 V. 

Show a wiring diagram of the module, or photograph of the connections.
