Hi, I already read your post (https://support.industry.siemens.com/tf/us/en/posts/custom-block-icon/151745/?page=0&pageSize=10#post612021 ) but, i wonder that Can I use this feature for own analog/motor etc. block and own wincc block icon? or This feature is just for PCS7. |

Hi, Yes ofcourse you can. I recommend reading the APL styleguide in order to create blocks that fit APL standard. Like using attributes for block, using structure inputs/outputs etc. Very important. When the block is ready, you can create block icon and faceplates. I highly suggest using a existing block icon like a VlvL with it's faceplates because making your own faceplates is difficult. Rather you adjust the faceplates yourself. All can be found under the links I described. |
