Hello

I have a LOGO 0BA0 and I’m trying to insert it in my home network. I have a TP-Link Archer C8.

I manually assigned an IP address to LOGO that was not being used in the network:

IP: 192.168.1.153

Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0 (same as my PC that is wired connected to the router)

Gateway: 192.168.1.1 (same as my PC that is wired connected to the router)

When entering the Router I can see all wired/wireless connections. The LOGO doesn’t appear.

(LAN led in LOGO in blinking between green/orange)

Of course I cannot access the LOGO with the Soft Confort running on my PC.

Tried to ping 192.168.1.153 and gets: “Destination host unreachable”.

Any tip to get it communicating?

First of all thanks a l to for the prompt replies!

Already connected direct the LOGO and PC and it's working. The cable (LOGO to router) is tested and perfect.

I guess there is something I have to configure in the router to allow the communication. Remember that:

-The router doesn't show the LOGO in the network mapping while shows all devices (wired/wireless) connected

-When pinging LOGO from PC I get the "unreacheable" notice

PC IP is 192.168.1.154

Ok, understand your point and makes some sense... posted it here because whatever I connect to the network automatically gets the IP and starts communicating. I have no problems at all with my router or any standard TCP/IP device!

So, in theory, once connecting LOGO to the network should work the same way and I should be able to access it from my PC that is connected to the same network.

Then I imagined that there were some specifics of LOGO communication protocols that I should configure in my router.

Didn't expect or wanted somebody to tell me how to manage my router. Sorry for that.

Anyway, I have a problem WITH LOGO communicating in a home network and if somebody is willing to help I would appreciate very much. I'm convinced that there is something very simple I missing to get it communicating (port, IP configuration, etc.)

Have a look into the setup of the router and try to slow down the LAN connector from 1G to 100M, where your Loge is plugged in. This was my problem at home. Maybe there is another parameter, which solves this problem, but i have never search for such parameter after slow down my LAN connector.

Hi there , i used to have a TP-Link router and the only way my communication worked if the logo and pc where in a different IP range then the automatic setting.

Automatic i used  192.168.0.0 and manual range i used 192.168.0.1 i never found a way around it and always needed to adjust my PC IP setting. after i replaced the router i never faced the same problem. I think this has to do with very strict DMZ setting.
