Hello,

I would like to add option to my program that operator could have possibility to change and save timer data / change setpoint and save from hmi.

Now I have posiibility only to change it from hmi but after cpu restart values get back to the setpoint - please see jpg attachemnt.

I would like to create a button on hmi which will save the new data witch operator enter on the hmi

operator enter new PT for timer on hmi > next press button "save" > this change setpoint   

I don't know the way how to acces the setopint in timers datablock 

I suppose function "MOVE" will be usefull here but I don't know the way how to save new setopoint.

Let me begin by saying thank you for your clear screenshot.
On point is missing: Which TAG are you writing to in the HMI?

See the attached picture for some hints on how to handle 'saving' and 'restoring' a value. You can take the idea to build your own. There is a whole field on this type work which is called 'recipe control'. Searching for 'recipe' will bring up some helpful topics.

I have made a mistake in the attachment which I correct in the below picture.

The design assumes the HMI sets the bit to true. The PLC needs to clear / reset the bit as soon as it is used. That is the reason for the  ---(R)   in the circuit.

Now as it is visible on video that when I enter value on hmi - this value is directly changed in PT timer, it looks that your instruction with "move" variant is not necessery -  or maybe I am wrong with my understanding of "retain" option in data blocks.

Hello,

I think you make it a little bit too complicated.

If you want to change a PT-value of a timer then can you do this only when the timer is not running. Otherwise can you write your PT-value from the HMI into a datablock which is retain.
The values can you calculate in the HMI at the tag (Value at the PLC = Value at the HMI * 1000), because you need the value at your HMI in seconds.

Then can your PLC restart and you have the right PT at your timer.

Other suggestion:

If you need only values with a accuracy in seconds then can you also use a "counter".
You can add or subtract a value at a variable from a DB in a time interrupt OB, 
This variable can you compare in you program with the setpoint.
The advantage is that you can change every time your setpoint, also during your counting.

Hello.

There is no way to change 'start value' column from the user program.
That is not a problem.

'start value' is used to initialize the tag when there is no 'retain' configured. Having the 'retain' attribute set will mean that the value will be held through a power-outage. Unhappily we cannot simulate this occurrence and it is not indicated in the DB.

What we can simulate is what happens when the PLC mode
progress through stop -> run or run -> stop.
This is demonstrated in the following video.

Are you are looking to keep the value that the user has set?
..then you already had what you were looking for.
Changing of 'start value' is not what you need.
