CPU226 Memory insufficiency - reg

Sreeram Posts: 53 Rating: (0)	Dear All, I have got a present configuration set up as attached. However, I have an issue of program memory insufficiency. Moreover, from the Main Central station, the data updation in the Remote Station is also taking a significant time delay. I need to offer a newconfiguration which isto be a cost effective solution. I can not go for S7300 because of cost constraint. In short, I need a configuration which should communicate with a thrid party software on a PC with a HMI communication. Please help Thanks & Regards Sree

Arunakat1 Posts: 217 Rating: (52)	Dear Sreeram, I’m not sure which CPU you use weather 222,224,224XP,226. But if you are going to use 226 I think its better to go for 300. Because the difference of price between 226 and lowered 300 is not very much. Thanks

umencho Grandmaster Joined: 3/21/2006 Last visit: 1/10/2026 Posts: 10247 Rating: (1183)	Hello I don't want to rewrite - go to manual (page 247 - 252 ) and see how you can make optimization in your case (just must buy maybe one repeater and PPI cable ) Also this tip: S7-200 PPI Network Notes (Tip 42) . But it'll be beter if you have this hardware to try. After that we can discuss this in details. regards
