Hello, i'm new on this field and I need some helps

I'm trying to connect PLC s7-1200 1212c CPU using PTO to control Yaskawa Sigma 3 drive (with a servomotor of course).

After followiing the Yaskawa manual on wiring and setting up parameter and the technology function on TIA portal 14, it didn't work as I expected, the motor running immediately after power on without my control.

I tried to use commission run but it can only change direction. Then I used SN75158 (Yaskawa recomend SN75174 for voltage output but I cannot find it so I use the similar) to connect between Q0.0, Q0.1 PTO ports (pulse and dir) and the Pulse-Dir input of the dirve. Now it stop running when power on (the SN75178 actually explode first try so I connect Q0.0 and Q0.1 with a 2.2KOhm resistor 2nd try). Problem is I cannot control the servo, it didn't move when I use commission. I'm stuck now.

Is there anything I missed? Please help.

I have some questions regarding your system?

Which CPU module you are using ? Please share the complete part no of the CPU.

Are you using open collector output circuit example? Because 1212C doesn't have a line driver output.

If yes then on which terminal of your drive you are giving the PTO?

Sigma 3 has only Line driver inputs /not seen open c...etc./

line driver SN75178 should work,,,,output from plc should be 5V./resistors could do it/....

Did You measure line driver output????
