I would highly appreciate to be able to set the LOGO's RTC to a certain hour via a specific bloc.

As "older" (even "archaic" ones) systems do, I would like to use one Input of the LOGO that I could link to a "LOGO's RTC" bloc where when the Input is set (for a second or just a rising edge), the RTC would be set to i.e. 03:00 (am).

This would allow the LOGO's RTC to be updated any time you want/need and synchronize its time with all other systems supplying UTC or GMT by the mean of just an external dry contact.

Is this possible in a future version?

BTW, there is a "Synchronization" menu in the LOGO's clock settings. What is it doing exactly? It looks to synch expansion modules. But what is it for precisely?

I do install most of the LOGO! (0BA8) in buildings where there is no ethernet connection available (mountain area).

Not being able to make sure the LOGO's RTC is showing the correct time forces me to go on site every 3-4 months and check/adjust time.

I love skiing but I can imagine you do know how difficult it is sometimes to reach certain places in winter time, don't you? ;-)

Unfortunately, I may need to install another system..... sad.

The only way to synchronice the RTC in LOGO! is via NTP. There are several option to use this feature:

1. synchronice with the PC (NTP-Server on PC requested) in the Network

2. If no Network is available, then you can use the CMR2040 to synchronice LOGO! RTC with GPS, or GPRS, LTE to a NTP-Server. Some Mobile Profider also offers NTP. This you can also use.

If you do not want to use an additional CMR, Then there is no way to synchronice the RTC.
