Hey guys

Trying to get KP900 keys as bits and control leds.

According to this entry i configured basic network with CPU 1211C and KP900. Checked IO device setting in HMI properties, set transfer area to I100...103 and Q100...103. HMI and PLC are well connected and basic access with tags working except for keys. When i press any button on panel all bits I100.x - I103.7 in plc are stay zero. Same with leds: if i activate for example in PLC Q100.0 no one led is light. Can someone explain how to do it right?

Solved. 

Check "Profinet IO enabled" in the HMI windows settings (before project startup).

Or did you make your own project?

Have you Compiled with the option "Rebuild All"?

Im using my own project. Example made on TIA v13, and i cant open it

 Yes. Compiled with rebuild H/W and S/W. Downloaded all. Tried mres. No effect

Ok i solved it.

All i needed is to check "Profinet IO enabled" in the HMI windows settings (before project startup). Now its all works just fine
