Hello. I created a project in which three registers are polled via Modbus and set the "Synchronize interval" to 250ms. The oscillogram shows that the real polling period is 320ms. Why is this happening? AttachmentModbus polling period 1.zip (523 Downloads) |

I have done a number of experiments. It turned out that the polling period is a multiple of 80ms. That is, if you set the period to 200ms, then in reality it will be equal to 240ms. The interval between requests is 40ms. If we have 3 requests, then if the checkbox is unchecked, the period will not be 80ms, as one might expect, but 160ms. That is, it is rounded up. But why can't such a reputable company describe its products fully enough? In the help, almost nothing is said about communication.
