Hi All, I have a Hyundai Hit 20 lathe with a Siemens 611 840D control. The battery was not replaced in time and, after a power cut, we have a fault 'Communication to NC failed'. we have changed the battery. I have a floppy disc titled 'Start up data' Can I have some guidance 1. how do I check out what is lost on the controller 2. how to reload the data thanks in advance, David ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hello, User can not find out indivdual problem of data lost & iin such case solution is reload NC PLC data. You need to check if the floppy disk is still working & if yes, check for NC PLC arc files. These files will be helpful to you to reload data. Just copy NC PLC arc files from floppy disk to your PG/PC HDD & with help of WinPCIN software & RS232 communication you can reload the data.
