I have Cu240e-2 control unit 

I want to set up a pid control 

i made thee follwing configuration 

P2200=1 enable PID block
P2253 PID setpoint i/p
P2264 PID Actual/Feedback valuE
P2257:RAMP_UP time for PID setpoint
P2258 RAMP_DOWN time for PID setpoint
P2274: PID derivative time
P2280: PID Propotional gain
P2285: PID integral time
P2292: PID output lower limit
P2293: ramp up/down time of PID Limit
r2294:PID output

but i did not know excactly hot to define the setpoit 

any help please

What tools are you using to configure the CU240E-2?

Is it possible to use Sinamics Starter or TIA Portal Startdrive in your application?  If you are already using startdrive, stay with that tool.  However, if you are using an operator panel, consider making it work with Starter software so you can configure this using the Drive Navigator.

Using the link already provided in a prior post, Starter software should save you time getting it configured and working.

P2264 = 755:1, for analogue input 1, PID Actual/Feedback valuE

P2257 = 10 seconds, RAMP_UP time for PID setpoint

P2258 = 10 secpnds,  RAMP_DOWN time for PID setpoint

P2274: do not use derivative, PID derivative time

P2280: = 3 seconds,  PID Propotional gain

P2285: = 5, PID integral time

P2292: leave at default, PID output lower limit

P2293: leave at default, ramp up/down time of PID Limit

r2294: this will be connected to main setpoint, PID output 

Summary:

run the drive in manual, P2200 set to 0, and check the following:

with set point connected check 2260 for a sensible reading

with feedback connected check 2266 for a sensible reading

Make P2200=1, and with STARTER connected, give the run command.

adjust settings and responses as the system is running.

I have a pressure transmitter 4-20 ma    0 - 16 bar 

how can I configure the set point to 7.5 bar ??

Hi

When p2237 = 775.0, the setpoint is set by analog input 2.

To set a fixed value, you must use the fixed setpoint.

 The PID setpoint and the PID feedback signal are interpreted as [%] values (not [Hz]).

So I think you have to set the set point at 46%

also The output of the PID controller is displayed as [%] and then normalized into [Hz] through P2000 (reference fre-

quency) when PID is enabled.
