Hello All

We are trying to read out the module diagnostics from a FAI6x15Bit HART module (6ES7 336-4GE00-0AB0). For this we are using the RD_REC SFC59. and according the Siemens manuals this is recommended.

When we call this function we get the feedback 8093, which means the module is not supported.

The modules are behind IM153-4PN and via Profinet connected to a CPU 417-5H. The SFC is called in a SCL code, which is called in CFC. The PLC also has S7 F functions.

Any idea how to solve this, or is there another way to read the diagnostics?

The structure we have found before and that's also how we have configured the SFC.

Request: Only done for one block at the time

IOID: B#16#54

LADDR: Address of first analogue input of module. presented as WORD

RECNUM: B#16#01

BUSY: Written to STAT variable

RECORD: STRUCT of 20 bytes

With the above settings we get a return value of 8093, which means the module is not supported.

Can there be any other setting which has impact? Or the F-Systems?

Tried again today, and whatever I'm doing it is always giving the 8093 value at the output. I have also tried SFB52, SFC13, etc.

They are not working either.

Are there any network restrictions?
