How to choose technology application P0500 for cutting shear

Silver1234 Posts: 62 Rating: (0)	HI Team I have a g150 drive with CU320-dp controller. I am a confused by parameter p0500. The motor is rated at 985 rpm (6 poles) and needs to operate in the field weakening range up to 1500rpm. The system has a very high inertia. Operation at very low speeds less than 100rpm is not required. The application is not a pump or fan, it is a cutting shear. I'm not sure whether this would be classified as p500=4 or p500=1. If i choose 1 "standard drive" can the machine operate in field weakening range? What is mean't by "Dynamic" in the field weakening range? Thank you.

You can find an explanation of the different settings of p0500 in the attached pdf, which comes from the operating instruction manual of the G150.
