Did you already check if there is a newer Firmware available for the used CP443-5? It's very recommended to use the latest Firmware.

Is the SIMOCODE device you power off at the end of PROFIBUS line?
How is the PROFIBUS network structure and where are the SIMOCODEs installed which cause the problem when they get powered off?

We have tried to check following configuration of Profibus system (see Attachment).

As a Master of Profibus DP system, we used both CP443-5 and CPU417-4.

Unfortunately, we have the same failure what we had before that.

Could you inform me about another correct way to fix the failure?

Hi all,

We have AS based on S7-400, with CP443-5 in central Rack as a Master of Profibus DP system.

Profibus system consists of several 'Simocode ProV 3UF7', 'SINAMICS G' and IM153-2-based periphery.

In the event of a power off one of 'Simocode ProV 3UF7', Master system goes into failure for a few seconds. And as a result, lost communication with the rest of the devices.

To track the source of failure, we mount test stand.

During the test we are identify, what the failure occurs only when 'Simocode ProV 3UF7' power is off.

The failure does not occur in the following cases:

- IM153-2 power off;

- disconnecting of bus connector on any Slave-devices.
