Hello,

we have a virtual (ESX) Win XP Machine SP3 with Step 7 V5.4 SP3 and Simatic WinCC.

After rebooting our machine there are 2 services that start automatic (s7epatsx.exe and s7oiehsx.exe) and use 100% of the cpu.

I can end these processes manually but it would be better to resolve this problem.

I googled a lot and found only Threads from 5 years ago (like this one https://support.industry.siemens.com/tf/WW/en/posts/s7epatsx-exe/74694?page=0&pageSize=10)

Sometimes i read that it helps to change the VM Bios from Workstation 8 to 7, but in our case we use ESX 6.5.0 Update 1. 

Is there any known solution?

under "Control Panel" -> "Software" there is listed "Simatic PCS 7 V7.0 SP3"
