In reference of my last help posted on Logo Support: Multiple LOGO on HMI Panel

I have to resolve how to connect 31 LOGO!s network project to ONE connection HMI PKT700 Basic panel.

On Logo! Soft Confort V.8.0 Im able to configure the network of one HMI panel + 31 Logo's ( this is the limits) See in attachment the project test connection.

As  said before, on my WinCC basic are working only 4 Connections, this 4 connection im able to set the IP address to 4 LOGO!s

You write that in LOGO network project i can integrating max 32 LOGO ( as my project demo) for a total of 128 LOGO!s

32 Logo network X 4 connection= 128 LOGO!s, is correct?

In the theory this 32 LOGO!s network project I have to connect ALL in ONE winCC Connection, but there I'm NOT able to connect or find how to configure this 32 LOGO!s in one connection.

Please can someone make me a winCC project example how to connect 31 LOGO!s network on one WinCC connection port?

Hi, I have just update my Logo Confort to V8.1, There now I can see the Modbus :)) finally some good news from siemens.

I see that need to load the new Logo 8 FS4, it is the same hardware module as the Logo! 0BA8??

Or it is a new Logo 8 hardware?

Under WinCC then the connection driver I have to use a new Modbus protocol or the old LOGO! protocol?

ok thanks, I will find who will resell this new hardware.

Need also to update the WinCC? There I can see only the Modicon Modbus TCP/IP and the others drivers.

wich one do I have to use for the Modbus?

FS4 is a new firmware. LOGO! can not upgrade or downgrade the Firmware. You must buy a new LOGO! FS4.

 I can NOT find any information or data sheet in internet of this new Logo!SF4.

No. But the software update to LSC v8.1 is especially for the LOGO! 0BA8 FS4 because modbus.

Ask your local Siemens sales office.

Hi, I have contacted many Siemens distributors, this new logo FS4 still not exist on the market and no one know when Siemens will start the hardware production .

in fact nothing is written on Siemens website, only the software 8.1 and stop.

What you are hoping to do in building a big network is messy with the LOGO! It is best to make Siemens Sales & Support part of your solution.

Is there any particular reason why you hope to use the LOGO! for this? Did you consider perhaps using CPU1211 or CPU1212 as the field devices?

I would however search for devices which can link to in a network using the existing electrical power circuit as host for the communication. In this way the installation would be simpler to do.

When you write, your HMI can be max. 4 connections, then you have a basic panel.
This means that the HMI can communicate with max. 4 LOGO!s.
In a LOGO! network project you can integrating max. 32 LOGO!s.
So is for your case at 128 LOGO!s end off all.

A comfort panel can 8 connections. Then you communicte with 256 LOGO!s.

That is the theory.

But whether the data traffic synonymous works, I can not guarantee you.
In my opinion no one in this forum will do that.
