Hello, The Application is to read the high speed 12v DC pulse from Weighing Scale to sense the amount of material passed through During One batch Process. Inter posing Relay will not solve the purpose here since it will not be able to read such high frequency pulse & results into chattering of relay. Since , Such module does not exists , i have to look for some alternate solution.

I have asked to provide it but since it is a old system , Customer is also not sure about it's specification. I will get back to this if i got any info. Customer refuses to use relay in this case.

The CPU I use (31xC) only takes 24 VDC I believe. Same goes for the FM 350 module. Perhaps there is other series that do take different voltages. You can also put in a pulse to analoge converter. I did a quick and dirty google search and came up with a few, this isone. I have used similar devices to convert pulses from a gas counter to a 4..20mA signal, works fine.

You can generate it into your PLC instead of taking it from weighing system. I hope you are getting the mA corrosponding to the TPH from the weighing system, and "one batch finish" feedback. Implement a totalizer in the programming, and transfer the total of one batch to the particular address. Reg, Ashish

On Every pulse it will sense that some kg weigh has passed through the weighing scale. That means on each pulse i have to add some weight (Totalizer). it does not have 4-20 mA Signal. You mus either get a new encoder which outputs 24V DC (an I think also 5V DC encoders are supported in FM350), or you can use a solid state relay with power of 12V DC and then connect the 24V DC to the output of the relay then to the High Speed Counter module. The DI modules in siemens sense a "1" signal when the voltage input is >18V DC, then using this signal with Siemens modules will not succeed.

Maybe this is better Data Sheet - Alstronthis is 100 KHz.
